Forum Rules and Description
The Roman Forum was a site located in the centre of ancient Rome, between the Palatine and Capitoline hills that served as an important location for religious, political and social activities. Orators gave speeches on the rostra, mercatores did business from their stalls and the people came to the temples to worship Venus and Saturn.
The Forum is now brought back to life, as now the meeting place of the Romans now becomes an online discussion centre for keen Latinists to talk about their common interests and questions regarding the language.
We want everyone to get the most out of this community, so we ask that you please read and follow these following guidelines:
• Respect your fellow learners
• Keep posts relevant to the given topic
• Refrain from purposefully "spamming" the message boards.
Finally, please enjoy yourselves! The Forum is meant to be a space for people of a variety of levels and abilities in the language to be able to share their mutual passion for the language, and do contact me at introlatincourse@gmail.com if you have any further queries or concerns!
