Accessible Classics Learning

Salvete Omnes

Hey there! My name is Ethan Tan and I am the creator of the Introductory Latin Course, a website jam-packed with online resources and tips that I have collated in my experiences and education in this incredible language over the years.

After countless hours of drafting, editing and technical development, I am proud to present the Beta Version of the ILC's Curriculum! All members will be notified when the full version of Semester 1 comes out, be mindful that all of our other resources, including the Forum and Private Classes are currently open!

About

Our Vision

At the Introductory Latin Course, we hope to create a system where all individuals are able to have a free and fulfilling opportunity to jumpstart their classical studies in a society where the intricacies of culturally rich subjects such as Latin are, regrettably, not accessible for anyone but those fortunate enough to study at an elevated academic institution or with the means and resources to start by themselves.

Thus, the ILC is geared towards giving everyone the tools to pursue their passion for the Latin language, providing a 40 hour, two semester curriculum that walks individuals through the basics of the language, alongside an interactive discussion forum that allows individuals across the globe to connect and communicate on a simple platform over their collective love for the Latin language.
